Pediatric Medical Day Care

Excellence in Pediatric Medical Day Care Services

Providing the bright care your child and your family deserves

PPEC Solution

The PPEC, a prescribed Pediatric Extended Care is offered through our Centers to meet the needs of families with medically fragile and /or techology dependent children who require skilled nursing services.

The consistency that the PPECC offers allows parents to work, go to school and take care of other family responsibilities while their medically fragile child is cared for by professional nurses and patient support aides (PSA), in a fun, child friendly atmosphere on a regular basis.

Quality Solution

The PPECC can be viewed as a “Medical Daycare” but in no way a “sick” daycare as the children who exhibit symptoms of any form of infection are asked to stay home from the PPECC.

The PPECC can be used in place of in home nursing or combined with in home coverage.

100% Coverage

The PPECC offers 100% coverage in a way that does not disrupt family life.

Many times the dynamic of a person coming into the home for an 8 to 12 hour period does not work for all families. Also, if a shift is left uncovered it causes many problems for the family.

We understand that everything is usually more difficult for minority women
Our programs are designed to provide more jobs in minority and low income communities, and to provide our services to families that are most at need
We have a special unit focusing on the needs of minority single moms and dads from low income communities, as we understand that they struggle more than anyone else
We work closely with foster care, child services and other similar government programs, to make sure that the children without any family, or those at highest risk in low income communities are not left behind

Insurance Coverage & Transportation

Insurance

The PPECC, together with the family’s input, will receive insurance authorization. As long as the authorization is maintained, there should be no cost to the family.

Our PPECC designs an activity program to meet the need of each child. Activity plans are formulated based on holidays, seasons, birthdays, and current events.
